Tim Graham / Texas Cowboy Singer and Poet. Once upon a time, in small Texas town, on a day when temperatures soared to 105 degrees, Debra was at a Cowboy gathering. While desperately seeking shade, she paused to the sound of a voice yodeling down the street. She hastened up the block in search of the voice and found Tim Graham on stage crooning his heart out. Never mind there was no shade on the stage...never mind the crowd was hot and miserable also...never mind the lack of a microphone...Tim sang and held the crowd spell-bound. Debra got to meet Tim in passing, but had the wonderful luck to become friends with him later that year at the State Fair of Texas. Both possess a wicked sense of humor and both love good, harmless practical jokes, so they formed a lifelong bond that includes regular bouts to see who will win the Wal-mart Bag Wars. We highly recommend Tim's music. He is featured singing Yellow Slicker on Debra's CD Cattle Calls..., available at Silver Creek Music.
The Texas Trailhands / The Texas Trailhands put the SWING in Cowboy Swing! This lively band plays traditional and orignial western music with a style so unique you just have to hear it to understand it. We dare you to not like them! CD's available.
On another note...Devon Dawson, the singing voice Cowgirl Jesse of the music CD for Toy Story II, with Riders in the Sky, is a member of the Texas Trailhands. For those of you who don't know, Devon sings Debra Coppinger Hill's "Wild Stickhorse Remuda" to which she wrote the music. You can get Debra's album here at the 4DH Ranch.
