Photos of Poco San Eagle

APRIL 2006

Poco has a storybook horse mane and tail with

black and white in them. He translates this to 90%

of the foals born on our ranch. He has a gentle

disposition that also translates to his foals along

with his athletic abilities. He is an easy breeder

and has been handled by our now 16 year old daughter.

We have not been working Poco. He has natural muscle and conformation.

He has a little sun fading on his black, but it is minimal and disappears

completely if he is covered or kept in.

Poco is very gentle. He is seen here head to head with our 16 year old daughter.

She has helped manage him during breeding season the last two years. He is very

devoted and loves attention. We have no problems breeding him as he is a gentleman

in every respect.

In these photos yo ucan see Pocos rick black color. he even stays shiney in winter when he

gets a little shaggy. You can see where the black fade in under the white

giving his markings a roan edging.

We call them Poco points. many of his babies have these

same spot markings above their hooves. His hooves are

muddy as we run the tanks over to keep the horses feet

moist as we are in drought conditions here in Oklahoma.

July 2005

Poco is slick and shiney even in winter. He has a "story-book" mane and tail.
